The Bataan General Hospital has been awarded as the 2nd Place Regional Winner for Gawad KALASAG 2016 by the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) on October 14, 2016 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center. The Gawad KALASAG is an annual event recognizing the efforts of various government agencies involved in the exemplary demonstration of a systematic and orderly standard emergency response mechanism and for mainstreaming and ensuring institutionalization of Health Emergency Management (HEM).
