Bataan General Hospital is ISO 9001:2008 Certified. Its Quality Management System has been assessed as complying with the requirements of the International Standard and registered on March 6, 2014.
The recognition of the hospital as ISO certified was done in two separate occasions. The first was by the Provincial Government of Bataan headed by the Governor, Hon. Albert S. Garcia, Hon. Herminia Roman, Congresswoman of the 1st District of Bataan with Asec. Gerardo Bayugo of the Department of Health. It was held on March 10, 2014 at the Capitol compound, Balanga City and witnessed by all the capitol employees who shared pride in what the BGH has achieved. The second was on March 17, during the DOH 8th National Staff Meeting held in Ormoc City. The Secretary of Health, Sec. Enrique T. Ona gladly congratulated the Medical Center Chief I, Dr. Glory V. Baltazar who accepted the challenge to go for ISO accreditation. The fruit of the collective effort and full support of all concerned (as shown in the picture: Sec. Enrigue T. Ona, Asec. Gerardo Bayugo, Asec. Pauline Ubial, Region 3 Dir. Leonida Gorgolon ) is truly deserved by the patients the BGH serves for the Glory of God.
