All regular employees of Bataan General Hospital were gathered last April 15, 2015 for the first General Assembly this year and it was presided by the Medical Center Chief, Dr. Glory V. Baltazar. One of the agenda of the said assembly was about the BGH before and after wherein Dr. Baltazar highlighted the big difference between the old and new BGH especially in terms of the buildings, medicines/supplies, medical equipment/instruments, grant of employees' benefits and manpower. Likewise, she discussed the performance indicator of BGH as well as physical reports of operations such as the bed occupancy which is consistently increasing from 71% in 2006 to 124.60% in 2014, total admission from 15, 392 in 2006 to 26, 868 in 2014, number of OPD patients served from 45, 986 in 2006 to 74, 898 in 2014 and other related reports. Dr. Baltazar was able to discuss also the awards and accreditation that were received by BGH like ISO-QMS Certification in 2014, Red Orchid Award for 2 consecutive years (2013 & 2014), Newborn Screening and Animal Bite Treatment Centers Award of Excellence and area for PhilHealth Benchmark both local and international. Furthermore, she emphasized the improvements and accomplishments of BGH for year 2014 namely the construction of OPD waiting area and comfort rooms, opening of TB-DOTS center and Pharmacy at OPD as well as the institutionalization of Women & Child Protection unit. Additionally, Dr. Baltazar discussed the financial report for year 2014 and the future plans of BGH.

The Bataan General Hospital in partnership with the Philippine Band of Mercy (PBM) and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Balanga conducted a free cleft lip and cleft palate surgical mission on April 14 and 15, 2015. The screening of patients was done on April 07, 2015 wherein all types of cleft conditions are being accommodated. Only twenty-three (23) patients from different municipalities of Bataan were passed the screening process and at the same time were successfully operated.

In April 08, 2015, the medical team of Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) headed by its Chief of Medical Professional Staff, Dr. Dominador M. Chiong Jr. in cooperation with the Bataan General Hospital conducted a medical, surgical and dental mission to all Bataenos especially to the Philippine veterans in observance of the Araw ng Kagitingan with a theme "Ipunla ang Kagitingan sa Kabataan, Ihanda ang Beterano ng Kinabukasan". The said mission was one of the programs provided by the Philippine government in coordination with the Veterans Federation of the Philippines.

Bataan General Hospital in cooperation with Bataan Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition (MSGC) has successfully launched its Women and Child Protection Unit (WCPU) that will serve those women and children who experienced any form of abuse. The said launching program with a theme "Itigil ang Pang-aabuso: Proteksyon at Kaligtasan ng mga Kababaihan at Bata" was started with a motorcade along Balanga City and followed by the program proper held at BGH conference room last March 12, 2015 which is in the observance also of International Women's Month. The Medical Center Chief, Dr. Glory V. Baltazar expressed her warmest welcome to the participants for spending their precious time with BGH in the launching of WCPU wherein she emphasized that BGH has accepted the challenge of having its own WCPU as mandated in the latest Administrative Order No 2013-0011 otherwise known as the Revised Policy on the Establishment of Women and their Children Protection Units in all Government Hospitals. Likewise, Dr. Baltazar mentioned the importance of the role played by women in the society wherein she reiterated the multitasking abilities of woman like during conception, giving birth and being a mother to her children. Additionally, she talked that children, being a vulnerable member of society, should be protected from any form of abuse and exploitation and to do so; it needs the full participation of everyone especially in the government sector.
