The Bataan General Hospital in its continued effort to address all aspects of hospital management conducted a seminar on Medico-Legal on January 7, 2015. The seminar as initiated by the Training Committee Chairperson, Dr. Don Arlie Romero was attended by 37 medical doctors representing all departments and was headed by the Medical Center Chief, Dr. Glory V. Baltazar.

 

2014 AccomplishmentReview

The Bataan General Hospital had their annual accomplishment reporting last December 22, 2014 which was spearheaded by its Medical Center Chief, Dr. Glory V. Baltazar. The purpose of the said program is to review what the hospital has accomplished for the year 2014 particularly on the three departments namely Medical and Ancillary, Hospital Operations and Patient Support and Nursing Service. Ms. Zenaida G. Ramos of the Quality Management System was the one who started the reporting. She talked about the different continual improvement plans as well as the accomplishment of the three departments as far as ISO-accreditation is concerned. Likewise, she tackled other matters like the Philhealth sharing among BGH employees, number of resolved complaints and the result of the customer satisfaction survey.

73rd Founding Anniversary of BGH

The Bataan General Hospital celebrated its 73rd founding anniversary last December 01, 2014. The celebration was officially started with a motorcade wherein different modern equipment as well as services of BGH was being promoted to the public. Right after that, a Holy mass was being celebrated by Rev. Fr. Abraham Pantig of the Diocese of Balanga and it was followed by ribbon cutting and blessing of the new equipment and facilities of BGH namely CT scan, Heart station especially treadmill, cardiac and holter monitors, endoscopy, cryosurgery, C-arm and also the TB-DOTS Center wherein it houses the GeneXpert machine which is a modern way of detecting Tuberculosis especially to those patients who developed resistance to anti-TB drugs.
