On December 3, 2018, the whole family of Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center together with its stakeholders has celebrated its 77th Founding Anniversary wherein the highlight of this year’s celebration was the unveiling of BGH’s new name based on Republic Act No. 11107 and the groundbreaking ceremony of Acute Psychiatry building. The event was formally started with an invocation and singing of Philippine national anthem, DOH and BGHMC hymn which was led by the hospital’s choir. In her welcome remarks, Dr. Glory V. Garcia III served as the Guest of Honor of the said event who at the same time was the author of House Bill No. 6521 which was supported by Senator Joseph Victor Ejercito by serving as the author of Senate Bill No. 1649 which recently became as Republic Act No. 11107 otherwise known as “BGHMC Law” after it was signed into a law by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
